A Relationship With Management

A Relationship With Management...

Involves Respect:  "When I was injured, GFES made me cover my own shift for months" - Anonymous GFES Employee

Involves Honor:  "My vacation was suddenly cancelled by GFES at the last minute, I had already paid for the plane tickets." - Anonymous GFES Employee

Involves Trust:  I have worked at GFES for 10 years and was promised a certain shift.  GFES gave it to a new employee."  - Anonymous GFES Employee

Now GFES says that NEMSA would prohibit a relationship between you and them?  WRONG

NEMSA contracts don't stop any relationship with your employer.  In fact, you are still free to go to your employer with any issue, comment, concern, or problem.  What NEMSA contracts do is give a framework including rules for dealing with some problems and issues.

What you get is certainty... and rules that your employer must follow.

The campaign to convince you that you are not EMS Professionals continues.  GFES is spending a lot of money and time trying to convince you that you don't want NEMSA.

Why do they fear NEMSA so much?  They break the law and trust that you will continue to cower in fear of them.

Do you want a relationship with management?  Choose NEMSA and see the difference.

To all employees:

I find it interesting that up until this point, management has been portrayed as our "best friend" just as expected. Now, they are resorting to using scare tactics to inject fear among the ranks. How is it that they have changed so drastically in their attitude? Every response they have had thus far has been predicted and will continue to be. This is because every decision they are making and every word from their mouths are scripted responses from their high paid antiunion lawyers and unionbuster, Tom Fagg. GFES has never had respect for its employees and probably never will, this is why we need to have some contractual agreements that would at least set some ground rules. Yes, these ground rules apply to both parties involved in the contract, but the benefits far outweigh the detriment of voting for a union. Stay strong and remember we are all in this together. If you have any questions, post them here and they will be answered as soon as possible.
